Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the Residential Sales Department. Their duties include hiring and training residential sales staff, relaying information from management to the sales team about sales quotas, and generating leads to divide among Sales Representatives.

Responsibilities:

• Skill Requirements:
• Provide comprehensive in-field sales training, including door-to-door sales techniques.
• Deliver training on siding and windows to the sales team.
• Ensure the sales team meets company-mandated performance standards.
• Proficiency in Xactimate is a plus but not required.

• Leadership and Management:
• Supervise daily operations of the Residential Sales Department.
• Recruit, train, and mentor residential sales staff.
• Communicate sales targets and management directives to the sales team.
• Allocate leads among Sales Representatives.

• Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Plan and oversee local and regional sales initiatives, promotions, and campaigns.
• Develop and execute hiring and training strategies for new Sales Representatives.
• Coordinate and direct all sales activities at local and regional levels.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Customer Relations and Service:
• Address customer complaints regarding services.
• Utilize data-driven insights to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients.



• Performance Management:
• Establish sales quotas and objectives.
• Monitor and manage the performance of the sales team.
• Identify and pursue emerging markets to capitalize on new sales prospects.
• Develop and implement territory-specific sales plans.

** Compensation will be based upon experience – the range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 salary **

Sales Representative

The Sales Representative plays a crucial role in the Residential Sales Department. Their duties include connecting with homeowners, understanding their roofing needs, and offering our expert solutions. Their primary goal will be to generate sales, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to the growth of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Execute local and regional sales initiatives, promotions, and campaigns.
• Generate leads through various channels, including door-knocking, cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings.
• Present our services to potential customers with clarity and enthusiasm. 
• Explain the benefits and value of choosing our company for their needs.
• Work towards and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Record and document all customer communications and job progress through CRM
• Maintain strong communication with Sales Manager

• Customer Relations and Engagement: 
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and professional conduct. 
• Engage with homeowners to understand their roofing and exterior improvement needs.
• Arrive on time for all appointments.
• Collaborate with the team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and project execution.

• Product Knowledge: 
• Develop a deep understanding of our roofing and exterior services. 
• Fully understand and adopt our company's mission, core values, and commitment to quality.
• Be able to answer customer questions about our roofing and exterior products.
• Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals to potential customers, addressing their specific requirements.

• Skill Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal skills. Verbal communication, listening skills, and ability to articulate how a product or service works to homeowners.
• Critical thinking skills. Must be able to diagnose a homeowner’s problems and quickly develop relevant solutions for the right price.
• Presentation skills. Product or service demos are often an integral part of this position, and reps must be able to explain the core features and benefits to homeowners concisely.
• Negotiation. Sales representatives constantly face objections and concerns and must be adept at negotiating deals.
• Relationship management. Skilled at building, nurturing, and in some cases, sustaining long-term relationships to ensure a positive customer experience.

Canvasser

Canvassers play a key role in engaging with potential customers in their neighborhoods, introducing them to our services, and generating leads. Your main responsibility is to engage with the homeowner and set a sales appointment, inspection, or consultation with a sales representative.

• Generate leads through various channels, including door-knocking, cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings.
• Walk door-to-door within designated neighborhoods to engage with homeowners and introduce them to Heritage Roofing & Exteriors.
• Present our services to potential customers with clarity and enthusiasm. 
• Explain the benefits and value of choosing our company for their needs.
• Maintain strong communication with the Sales Team.

• Customer Relations and Engagement: 
• Initiate strong customer relationships through effective communication and professional conduct. 
• Clearly and professionally communicate our company's offerings, value proposition, and any current promotions or incentives.
• Set appointments based on the homeowner's availability.
• Accurately record customer information and their roofing or exterior needs.

• Product Knowledge: 
• Develop a basic understanding of our roofing and exterior services, our company's mission, and core values.
• Be able to direct specific customer questions about our roofing and exterior products to the sales team.

• Skill Requirements:

• Cold Calling: Initiate outbound calls to potential commercial clients to introduce Heritage Roofing & Exteriors' services.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our roofing and exterior services, company mission, and core values.
• Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential commercial leads by discussing their roofing and exterior needs and requirements.
• Pitching Services: Clearly and professionally communicate the value of our services, emphasizing our expertise in commercial roofing and exterior solutions.
• Data Management: Accurately record client information, call outcomes, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.
• Follow-up: Execute timely and effective follow-up calls and emails to nurture leads and move them through the sales pipeline.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on call activities, lead generation, and conversion rates to the Sales Manager.
